Bios

• Madison

  Mrs. Madison and her husband, Josh, were both born and raised here in Jonesboro. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in Dental Hygiene. After 11 years as a hygienist, she desired to work in education and with young children. She has served many years in their church as a preschool Sunday School teacher, and quickly realized her passion for spending time with little ones. She and her husband have three young children - Rory, Ellis and Summit. When school is out, she and the kids are usually cheering on dad’s high school baseball and golf team at Valley View. Madison and Josh look forward to meeting you and your children! They hope to help guide and nurture them through these important first years!

• Alyssa

  Mrs. Alyssa was born and raised in the small town of Sheridan, Arkansas. Alyssa attended Arkansas State University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. While attending ASU, she met her husband, Travis. After college, Alyssa taught sixth grade literacy at Nettleton School District for three years. Before joining the Goddard family, Alyssa opened her own in-home child care center and completed her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She recently welcomed her first little boy, John Michael. In her free time, Alyssa loves to spend time with her family and travel to new and exciting places. Her most recent trip was to Ireland and Scotland! Alyssa is excited to serve you and your families!

• Lindsey

  Mrs. Lindsey was born and raised in Paragould, Arkansas. She moved to Jonesboro in 2011 where she attended Arkansas State University and studied Mid-Level Education. After she graduated, she married her husband, Kevin Frisbee. She taught middle school and high school for the last 8 years until having her daughter, Conley. Lindsey has a love for education and pouring into and serving her community. In her free time, you will probably find her in a basketball gym watching her husband coach, watching some of her former students play, or watching the Memphis Grizzlies. Lindsey looks forward to watching your babies grow and learn!

• Brianna

  Hello, My name is Brianna. I was born in Portland, Oregon, and moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas in 2016. I am a senior at Arkansas State University majoring in Business. My passion has always been with children, so I'm honored to be able to get the chance to work at The Goddard School. I can't wait to see what this new chapter in my life brings me.

• Cayden

  My name is Cayden. I’m 23 years old and married to my high school sweetheart. Together we have a son who is almost 2. I’m originally from Kennett, Missouri, but moved to Jonesboro in February. I’m so excited to be a part of The Goddard School! I can’t wait to get to know and love all of the children here!

• Hannah

  My name is Hannah, and I’ve lived in Jonesboro since I started at Arkansas State in 2010. I graduated with degrees in Math and Math Education. After teaching high school math for 7 years, I am excited to work with a fun, younger age group!

• Jordan

  Hey! My name is Jordan. I’m a Mom/Bonus Mom to a total of 6 kiddos. I carry a degree in Respiratory Care, but childcare is where my heart is. I have about six years of prior childcare experience and truly enjoy every aspect of it. I'm so excited to love on your kids here at Goddard!

• Kelsi

  I'm 27 years old and married to my sweet husband, Dale. I have 7 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, and it has always been a passion of mine! I love seeing young minds grow and explore new things!

• Marina

  Hi! My name is Marina, and I’m so glad to be apart of The Goddard School! A little about me: I am originally from Texas and moved to Jonesboro about 3 ½ years ago. I met my husband while he was stationed in Texas, and we have been married almost 5 years! Since I was little I always knew I wanted to work with kids. I planned to work with older elementary aged kids, but that changed to little kiddos. This field has been so rewarding and enjoyable!

  Hi, my name is Monica and I'm so excited to be your Pre-K teacher! I am an Arkansas State graduate with a Bachelor's in Communication Disorders. A few things about me is I love sweets, reading and being with my family. I can't wait to see how much we learn together this year!

  Hello, My Name is Nora . I have 5 beautiful children who keep me busy! My oldest 4 are teenagers. yikes! lol Never a dull moment but I love it, wouldn’t change anything about it. We love the outdoors, hiking, and family time as well. I am so excited to be a part of The Goddard School Family. I’ve always enjoyed working with preschoolers. I have over 10 years of experience working in this field. I am fluent in Spanish. I cannot wait to start on this new journey with you all.

  Hi! I'm Zae, I was born and raised here in Jonesboro. It's a true honor to be part of this community, serving and supporting families by nurturing their children's growth and development. I have always had a passion and interest in early childhood development, and recognize the importance of these first years for your little ones! I enjoy reading, cooking, and art in my free time. I am looking forward to watching your children grow and thrive at Goddard!

  Hello! My name is Careisha Stevenson. I'm studying Elementary Education at A-State. I want to receive my PHD and move forward with teaching on a higher level. I enjoy teaching children new things, but I love building character and creating confidence. Hoping that you all enjoy having me this school year, I look forward to meeting everyone soon!

  Hello! My name is Chelsie, and I’m twenty-three years old. My passion is teaching! I have worked in early childcare for 5 years, and every year I love it more and more! I’m so excited and proud that I get the opportunity to teach your students here at The Goddard School!

  Hello! My name is Faith and I’m 24 years old. I am from Minnesota, and I moved to Jonesboro in August of 2021. Working with kids is something I am very passionate about. I am so excited to be apart of The Goddard School and can’t wait to build a connection with all of the children and their families!

  My name is Hannah, and I am a senior studying to be a speech-language pathologist at Arkansas State University! I love kids and chose to work in childcare because I am wanting to work with this population after I graduate college.

• Kaliya

  Hi! My name is Kaliya. I am from Palestine, Arkansas, which is a small town that is an hour and a half from Jonesboro. My hobbies include treat making and spending time with my family and friends. I am a student at Arkansas State University, seeking my bachelors of science in nursing. I want to become a pediatric nurse. I chose early child care because I enjoy caring for children and aiding them in growth. Early child care will also help me in my future career as a pediatric nurse, because it gives me experience with many different children. I hope I can be an advocate and provide the adequate amount of care for the little ones!

  Hey! My name is Kaylee Whitson! I’m a freshman at Arkansas State University. I’m so excited to meet all the children and families of The Goddard School! In my free time, I love to paint, spend time with friends, and visit my large family. I am the oldest of 16 grandchildren, so I have a lot of experience working with kids.

  My name is Kennadie, and I am from Sheridan, Arkansas. I am currently a student at Arkansas State University, majoring in Elementary Education. I chose education because I love kids and want to help them become the best version of themselves.

  My name is Lacie, and I am from Medina, Tennessee. I am a Junior Early Education major at Arkansas State University. I am the secretary for my sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. Off campus I am involved in 747 college ministry at Central Baptist Church. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my friends and family, go shopping, travel, read, and play with my puppy, Gus. I am also a huge music fan! I love all genres of music. One of my favorite artists is Taylor Swift.

  Hey! My name is Lindsay! I’m a student at Arkansas State University majoring in Exercise Science. After I graduate, I plan on becoming a physical therapist. I chose to work in early childcare because this is the age group I plan on specializing in. I’m excited to be a part of The Goddard School and meet the kids!

  My name is Matti, and I am a student at Arkansas State University. I am studying to receive a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and become a teacher! I am excited to spend time with the kids at The Goddard School and have lots of fun while learning!

  Hi, my name is McKinley Powell! I am a sophomore at A-state, and I am majoring in social work! I plan on being a pediatric therapist and love working with children!

  Hey! My name is Meagan Phillips, and I am from Cabot AR. I am a student at Arkansas State University majoring in Elementary Education with a goal of becoming a 3rd grade teacher! I love to hang out with my friends and family, travel, read, and cruise. I also love music with some of my favorite artists being Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen! I chose to work at Goddard because I love helping little kids learn and thrive. I cannot wait to work with so many amazing kids!

  Hello! My name is Megan, I am a freshman at Arkansas State University. I am studying to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I chose to work here at The Goddard School because I love helping children. I’m am so excited to be apart of The Goddard School and can’t wait to teach all of the sweet kids!

  My name is Meredith, and I am a Senior in college studying Elementary Education. I am originally from Fayetteville, AR. Both of my parents went into education, and I am also the oldest of my siblings. I have a younger brother and sister. I have always loved working with kids and especially the younger aged kids.

  Hello! My name is Olivia and I am 22 years old. I am so excited to be apart of the Goddard Family. I graduated from Brookland and have lived in Jonesboro all of my life. I have several years of childcare experience, and have a passion to see young minds grow!

• Summer

  Hello! My name is Summer Owens. I just recently got married to my husband, James. We have two dogs, who are basically our children. I was born and raised in Jonesboro, AR. I have worked with children since I was 17, and I have a special place in my heart for kids. I was recently a pediatric nurse until I realized nursing was not for me, and I know working with kids was my passion. I cannot wait to see what all Goddard has to offer for me!!

• Yasmine

  My name is Yasmine Aly. I was born in New Orleans, but I have lived in Arkansas for quite some time. I am a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and am currently a senior at Arkansas State University. I hope to graduate with a Bachelor’s in Criminology and attend law school in the near future.
